1/2cup margarine/butter (melted)
1 1/2 cups smashed dry crackers
1 can of sweetened condense milk (14oz)
200g roughly chopped chocolate
1 1/2 cups coconut (mixed of flaked and shredded
1 cup chopped nuts(almonds walnuts or pecans
- add the melted butter first. to a 13inch x 9 inch baking pan
- then add the crackers crumbs (I sieve of the fine crumbs using a colander)
- Pour over half the tin of condense milk
- add the coconut nuts and chocolate
- the drizzle over the remaining condense milk
- baked in oven 180 /160 for about 30 to 60 minutes until the condense milk is nicely caramelised
- cool then store in frig before cutting
- Freezes well
