1/2 tin condense milk ( i use the whole tin)

1/2 cup sugar ( i use brown)

2 tablespoons golden syrup 

6oz  (175 gram) butter 

6oz  (175 gram) arrowroot biscuit 

4oz walnuts b pecans or both 

6oz  (175 gram) n milk chocolate

 

  1.  Crush biscuits into chunky pieces  and sieve out fine crumbs with a colander.Mix with nuts
  2. combine condense milk , golden syrup, sugar and butter in a large saucepan and stir over a low heat until combine. increase heat  but stir constantly because it will catch very easily  until  golden  brown.
  3. Add the biscuit and nut mix to caramel 
  4. Press into a lined ( baking paper) slice tray
  5. Once smooth add melted chocolate and refrigerate
