Ma Ma's (Mums) Chocolate Cake

April 2021

4oz marg

1/2 cup sugar

2eggs

2 tablespoons  raspberry jam

2 tablespoons cocoa mixed with 1/4 cup hot water 

1/2 cup milk

2 cups SR flour


 

ICING

icing sugar 

butter 

cocoa 

hot water

coconut to decorate

 

  1. Cream 4oz margarine with 1/2 cup sugar.

  2. Slowly add 2 beaten eggs.

  3. lastly the raspberry jam.

  4. Add the cold milk to to cocoa and water mixture.

  5. Alternately fold the sifted flour into the mixture with the milk and cocoa .

  6. Pur into a greased ring cake tin

  7. Baked in a mod erate oven and until cookeds

  8. Cool and then cover with icing and coconut
